My part is to rejoice. God is so very good and He is always in this amazing mood. Jesus had a mission to bring Good News to me. Am I hearing bad news? It is a lie then. That is from my enemy Satan. So, I will rejoice at the good God is doing now.
 
I need to talk with my Father, ask Him for what I need, and be thankful in my conversations with Him. He knows what I need and will do more than I can imagine.
 
I don’t understand it, but as a result, His peace is mine. I can rest and relax. His peace is at attention in my heart. He is protecting me and the enemy can’t reach my heart.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-9

Flying off the handle

Here is a concept. Our Father is absolutely perfectly in love with me. He isn’t, can’t, won’t fly off the handle at me. He keeps His cool. I don’t frustrate him. He is amazing. OK, this is much better than a concept. It is real. It is true.
 
May I love like him. May I never fly off the handle. May I keep my cool.

Free indeed!!!

This was the mission of Jesus. It was why He came to our world. And He did it. He has released me. I am free. I  am not bound to the way I was raised. I am not a prisoner of our culture of shame and guilt.

I am living in His favor. He loves me. Even though He corrects me, it because He cares like no other can. He only has my best interest in His heart and soul.

He has given me a crown, oil and new clothes. Will I put them on? Will I wear the crown of beauty? Will I pour on the oil of gladness on my body? Will I wear the new cloths of praise?  

May I experience the freedom and the release He has given me. What a gift!!!

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:1–3

 

My imagination

I am not thinking big enough. My imagination is limited in ways I can’t grasp. I ask for catfish and He gives me Tilapia. His power is in me. I need to ask for more. If I think God wants to comfort a dear friend who is sick, why don’t I ask Him to completely heal them? If I think a family member needs salvation, why don’t I ask for complete deliverance?

My limitations are my limitations. Nothing is impossible with God. He wants to do stunning things.

May I expand my view to the possibilities that my all powerful God can do and not what I am willing to settle for.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

 

Nothing hidden

Whoo Hoo!! This is very good news. Since I have turned to Jesus, the Master, I am seeing Him face to face. Nothing is hidden. I see His absolute perfection. By His mighty hand, He made me to be a new creation in Jesus. I am free from the old agreement that He had so long ago. I am living in the new agreement He has with us.

 

May I see Him and His perfect plan today.

Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 2 Corinthians 3:15-16

Purpose

God has a purpose in what He says to me. There is something He has in mind to accomplish. And, He is true to His word. He doesnt say things He doesnt mean. The enemy is a liar. He would deceive me. My heavenly Father and Jesus are the truth. I can count on them.

 

May I believe His word that He is speaking to me now.

 

My word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Amazing Weapons

The enemy is constantly trying to find ways to trip me up. God is strong and He wants me to be strong in Him. I  have the most amazing  weapons. He has shown me the way. The victory is His.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Ephesians 6:10

 

His words

Jesus didnt say what He wanted to. His words were from my Heavenly Father. The origin of what He said was focused on what He saw His Father doing, what His Father was saying and who His Father is.  This is an amazing way Jesus lived before His death, resurrection and ascension to power.

How often are my words my own versus words from my Heavenly Father?

 

May my words reflect what my Heavenly Father who is living in me is doing.

The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. John 14:10
